UKTA’s 6th Anniversary Celebrations on 9th July

UK TELUGU ASSOCIATION (UKTA) would once again like to beseech your gracious presence for the closing ceremony of UK – Europe Cultural and Folk Festival “Jayate Kuchipudi”, an event that has made all South Indians proud. 

The closing ceremony is combined withUKTA’s 6th annual day celebrations and the chief guest is popular Telugu film star Pavan Kalyan.

 The ceremony and celebrations are scheduled for 9th July from 5:00pm onwards at:

UGADI 2016 (TELUGU NEW YEAR) VEDUKALU

The festival of Ugadi heralds the start of a New Year in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. In these states the festival is locally referred to as Telugu Panchang and Kannada Panchang, respectively. Ugadi comes from two words, ‘Yuga’ meaning ‘era’, and ‘aadi’ means ‘the beginning’.
